QAI India Recognizes Kanbay's Metrics Program on Increasing Return on Investment for Software Testing

ROSEMONT, Ill., July 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Kanbay International, Inc. KBAY, a global IT services firm focused on the financial services industry, today announced that it has been awarded the QAI Testing Leadership Award at the 5th annual International Software Testing Conference held in Hyderabad, India. The Award recognizes leadership and contributions made in the field of software testing.

Kanbay won the Testing Leadership Award for their whitepaper, "High Business Returns Through Improved Testing Processes and Practices", written by Anuradha Saihgal, Senior Manager, and Rahul Nagar, Associate Consultant. This winning paper discusses how to increase return on investment by optimizing the testing processes and practices for all testing projects across the organization.

Examples from the winning paper include, reduction in defect rejection rate from 40% to 16%, reduction in effort variance from 59% to 19%, and an increase in the defect detection rate for cycle-1 from 60% to 80%.
