Top Siemens Mobile Executive Becomes Chief Executive of Tao

Kevin Freeguard, 44, has been appointed as CEO of Tao Group, the multimedia software solution company whose intent platform is now embedded in more than ten million home and mobile digital appliances since May 2004.

He joins Tao from Siemens Mobile where as a member of the board he held the position of Senior Vice President responsible for Product and Business Management and brings many years of experience in the Mobile and IT industries having previously worked for both Motorola and IBM.

Francis Charig, Chairman of Tao said, "In the last year Tao has built market share significantly for the intent platform. This appointment is extremely important for the company and is the result of an extensive global search to install the individual who would best lead the company during the next phase in its growth.
